Vanguard Properties inaugurates the Infinity building

Vanguard Properties has inaugurated the Infinity. Although a brand-new addition to the skyline, this project is already considered one of Lisbon's most iconic buildings. Located in the Sete Rios neighbourhood, in the parish of Campolide, it’s one of the largest housing developments in the Portuguese capital, with 26 floors above ground and over 50,000 square metres of construction area. Boasting 195 flats, ranging from studios to 6-bedroom duplexes, not forgetting 352 car parking spaces, Infinity involved an investment of over 90 million euros, with most buyers being Portuguese.

The building’s architecture was designed by the Saraiva+Associados studio, which created a concentric layout made up of three "wings" connected to a central area, each with a different designation and organisation: River, Nature and City. Some of the duplex flats have garden terraces with double-height ceilings. The interior design of the communal areas was devised by the prestigious Casa do Passadiço.

In the lobby, there’s an artwork by Joana Vasconcelos. Part of the Crochet Paintings series developed since 2009, which inspired pieces now found in major museums and international collections, Infinity Landscape is a site-specific work, designed and produced especially for the Infinity Tower. The work is made up of various handmade figures in single crochet stitch, each one essential to the composition of an immersive and interactive landscape where abstract and natural worlds meet through the rhythm of colour gradient and volume.

In the entrance area and common room, the use of excellent materials, such as natural leathers, linen and bouclé, not only provide comfort but also a certain elegance and sophistication. The use of marble and brass for the furniture lends a touch of timeless beauty, while the custom-made Murano lamps offer exclusivity and define the design itself. In the spa and indoor pool area, the designers essentially focussed on conveying a sense of relaxation and tranquillity. Comfortable furniture and natural wood features made it possible to create a cosy and organic atmosphere, boasting harmonious design that helps us unplug from the stresses and strains of everyday life. With a keen eye for detail and carefully selected materials and personalised elements, visually impressive spaces have been conjured that offer residents and visitors a variety of sensations and emotions. At the same time, the Infinity condominium offers a range of amenities that are unique in Portugal, rivalling the finest hotels.

Highlights include an outdoor swimming pool on the 24th floor, with infinite and panoramic views over the city, an indoor swimming pool for adults (24.5 x 5 metres) and another for children. There are two party rooms, a state-of-the-art gym with Technogym equipment, a kids club, a spa, meeting rooms, co-working spaces and an interior courtyard with large garden areas, complemented by a padel court.

Infinity also offers its residents concierge services, which are available for matters such as transport, catering, cleaning and laundry, as well as shopping, tickets to shows and events, amongst many others.

The Infinity building will also have a direct pedestrian and cycle path connection to Parque Florestal de Monsanto, allowing residents to enjoy over 900 hectares of green spaces.
